Use this K1 kitchen opening checks template to complete key morning tasks before service. Verify safe food storage and rotation, label open packs, defrost and label items for the next day, and record weekly cleaning. Check grill plates, flues, filters and bins, and store used oil correctly. Confirm probes and wipes are available, color coded boards are in place, PPE is in good condition, and handwash stations are stocked. Ensure fridges, freezers and equipment are working, staff are fit for work, prep areas are sanitary, exits are clear, ingredients meet standards, and service cloths and storeroom are tidy.
