Restaurant Service Excellence Checklist

Use this SERVEX checklist to evaluate front-of-house and back-of-house performance in a full-service restaurant. It covers arrival and welcome, seating, order taking and suggestive selling, service timing for drinks, appetizers, mains and desserts, table service standards, and guest engagement. Manager-on-duty practices, check-backs, payment and farewell procedures are included. The checklist also reviews bulletin board updates, training materials, grooming and uniform compliance, equipment and table setup, and non-negotiable operational standards.
