This FOH closing procedures checklist helps restaurant and concession teams complete a thorough end-of-day close. Tasks include restocking supplies (cups, straws, utensils, condiments), shutting down and cleaning displays (pizza and pretzel cases), sanitizing soda and ICEE machines and nozzles, wiping counters and tables, taking out trash and boxes, sweeping and mopping floors under all tables, and turning off TVs and lights. It also covers cash handling steps such as closing, counting out the drawer, resetting the register, and handing the money bag to the manager.
