This Daily Duty Manager Report checklist helps hotel managers conduct comprehensive daily audits across key areas of the property. Review hotel entrance and parking, signage and lighting, and on-site security presence. Verify safety items like fire extinguishers, emergency phones, elevator condition, and clear evacuation routes. Check lobby and reception readiness, public restroom cleanliness, Wi-Fi and digital signage, and front-of-house presentation. Assess restaurants and bars for hygiene, staff readiness, uniforms, allergen labeling, and buffet temperatures. Inspect pools, lifeguard equipment, water clarity, and closure controls; confirm spa and gym cleanliness, equipment function, and posted instructions. Evaluate kids club and playground closures and safety notices. In back-of-house, confirm kitchen hygiene, refrigeration temperatures, pest control, laundry and engineering orderliness, receiving areas, staff facilities, canteen safety, first aid kit completeness, and defibrillator checks. Capture incidents and guest complaints during the shift.
