COVID-19 Fogging and Filtration Controls Checklist

This checklist supports safe use of fogging, misting, ozone disinfection, and air filtration devices as additional COVID-19 controls. Based on the Aviva Loss Prevention Standard V1.0, it guides teams to review natural and mechanical ventilation, confirm appropriate system settings, and evaluate whether added controls suit the workplace and activities. It prompts creation of risk assessments for equipment use and maintenance, consideration of hazards such as size, location, noise, and operation, provision of staff information and training, and arrangements for ongoing maintenance.
