Semi-Structured Questionnaire for Teachers and Facilitators

This semi-structured questionnaire supports teachers and facilitators in collecting consistent insights about education access and quality. It captures site details, class size and demographics, teacher background and motivation, and challenges faced in schools or non-formal education centers. Prompts explore barriers to education, reasons for out-of-school and dropout (with a focus on girls), awareness of child protection in emergencies, and psychosocial support needs. It also considers requirements of vulnerable learners, including children with disabilities and displaced children, as well as availability of water and toilets and staff facilities. The checklist concludes with improvement ideas to make learning more accessible, equitable, and gender-responsive.
