AHU Servicing Checklist
This AHU servicing checklist guides technicians through a complete inspection of air handling units. Verify motor electrics, operation, vibration, and mounting. Check pulley alignment, belts, fan housing, scroll, and shaft integrity. Inspect door and panel security, record manometer readings, and top up fluid if needed. Assess filter condition and plan replacements, review AHU controls and inverters, and clean cooling fan filters. Test frost stats, modulating dampers, guide vane actuators, and examine heating and cooling coils. Clean the unit, look for corrosion, and ensure condensate drains are clear with no carry-over. Lubricate dampers and guide vanes as required, exercise valves and reset to original positions, and confirm air tightness. Capture before and after photos and record further notes and a service summary.
