This UKLC Point of Work Risk Assessment (POWRA) checklist guides supervisors and teams to verify safety before starting any task. It covers documentation and RAMS confirmation, permits, safe access and egress, correct tools and equipment, changes in equipment or methodology, COSHH assessments for hazardous substances, working at height training and inspections, identification and isolation of live services, signage and barriers, and required PPE. Part 2 prompts hazard identification and control actions for slips and trips, falls from height, flying objects, hot works, plant and vehicle risks, manual handling, excavations and confined spaces, dust, noise, vibration, electricity, radiation, contamination, lighting, temperature, weather, and pinch points. The form concludes with a daily review, lessons learned, safety suggestions, and signatures confirming briefings and understanding.
