Point of Work Risk Assessment (On Site)

This on-site Point of Work Risk Assessment template helps operatives verify pre-start requirements and control risks before work begins. Part 1 covers readiness checks such as reviewing the surveyor’s POWRA, competence, correct tools and documentation, PPE, PAT-tested power tools, inspected working-at-height equipment, cable location (cat and genny), and gas detector availability. Part 2 guides hazard identification across slips and trips, falls from height, chemicals, electricity, dust and fumes, noise and vibration, vehicles, confined spaces, asbestos, adverse weather, and risks to others, with notes for additional controls. The template concludes with operative sign-off and an end-of-job review to capture improvements and any new hazards.
