Pre-Measure Form for HVAC and Insulation Projects

This pre-measure form standardizes data collection for HVAC and related scope before installation. Capture whether the home is lead-safe, unit replacement details, packaged or split systems, gas pack or heat pump, roof or ground mounts, duct covers, roof jack dimensions and pitch. Record furnace type, condenser pad and line set needs, filter bases, condensate pumps, cranes, power requirements and panel type. Document equipment size, re-duct scope, permits, thermostat wiring, return duct and grille sizes, new returns, supply trunk or flex, and added supply vents. Include bathroom and kitchen fan installs, power and venting, cleaning and sealing, room pressure relief using jump ducts or grilles, and framing clearances. Provide Manual J inputs, home orientation, construction types, mobile home status, and insulation work including attic access, dormer vents, can lights and batt realignment. Add notes and certify accuracy.
