This Point of Work Safety Assessment (POWRA) template helps supervisors and crews verify pre-start requirements and manage dynamic risks at the job site. It covers reading and understanding RAMS or method statements, PPE readiness, equipment and plant certifications, and worker competence before attending site. The checklist prompts users to identify hazards such as working at height, lifting, access equipment, manual handling, electricity, traffic safety, hazardous substances, excavations, and confined spaces. It includes checks for permits, inductions, lift plans, and site conditions, plus space for additional control measures. A comprehensive toolbox talk topic list is provided, along with guidance on weekly revalidation when tasks remain unchanged. Use this form to document controls, approvals, and continuous improvement for safer site operations.
