This kitchen and bathroom handover checklist helps verify the quality of newly installed rooms before client sign-off. Inspect plaster, paintwork, tiling, flooring, worktops, sinks and seals, cabinetry, and pipework for damage or defects. Test electrics, lighting, sockets, extractor fan and smoke detectors, and confirm gas and electric cooker provisions, including a cooker chain where required. Check for leaks, ensure stop tap operation, and leave a complete handover pack on site. Record snags, add notes, and capture evidence to streamline remediation and final approval.
