Use this kitchen and bathroom handover checklist to complete final inspection and snagging. Confirm installation against drawings and specification, check cabinet alignment, hinges, handles, plinths, sealant, splashbacks and tiles, and test taps, waste pipes and extractor fans. Verify smoke, heat and carbon detectors. For bathrooms, confirm shower operation, screens or curtains, wall boards or tiling in wet areas, non slip flooring and drainage. Capture defects with photos and confirm certificates including EIC, EICR, fire and Part P, plus LGSR.
