Use this fixed scaffolding task inspection checklist to assess site and task readiness and document compliance with scaffold design and safety controls. Verify SWMS sign-on, third party engineering verification for scaffolds over 4 m, and construction against the design plan. Check baseplates and sole boards on level ground; ties spaced correctly; qualified scaffolders for work over 4 m; Scafftags current; fully planked platforms with gaps under 10 mm and clear access of at least 450 mm. Confirm WLL ratings (Light 225 kg, Medium 450 kg, Heavy 675 kg), guardrail heights 900-1100 mm, secured ladders at 1:4 slope extending 900 mm above landings, public protection near powerlines and plant, and use of harnesses and tool lanyards. Record issues, owners, and due dates for corrective actions.
