This EWI Top Coat Photo Evidence checklist helps teams document the final stages of External Wall Insulation works. Capture warranty photos of primer and fully top-coated elevations, confirm background, apex, and skirt ventilation, and verify door undercuts and extractor fans in wet rooms. Record interior checks including wall thickness, boiler flue integrity, and presence of gas or electric fires. Verify exterior quality: no gaps, complete insulation coverage, secure extractor ducting, lagged water taps, reinstalled and secured gutters and downpipes, and operational lighting. Check meter boxes and avoid insulating gas meter lids. Provide photographic evidence of silicone sealing at soffits, vents, sills, fittings, and fixtures. Finish with a customer sign-off and confirmation the site is left clean and tidy.
