Use this Build Only Site Check template to document initial site conditions before construction begins. Record lot identifiers, footpath heights and conditions, kerbs and water assets, service and tree locations, existing vehicle crossings, fencing and retaining walls, and any damages. Capture heights, take photos, and note slopes and whether retaining or batter is required to inform planning and risk assessment.

Site Heights Survey Checklist
This Site Heights checklist helps construction and civil teams capture critical site measurements and conditions. Record kerb and footpath heights and locations, cesspit positions, tree and lamp post locations, and existing vehicle crossings. Document existing fencing and retaining walls with photos, and note asset conditions for footpaths, kerbs, and water. Assess neighboring house heights and decide if retaining, battering, or strip drains are needed. Include cut details and finished floor levels, then attach a finished site plan to support planning and build readiness.

This Construction Site Pre-Planner helps builders and site supervisors plan before slab pour. Capture access needs, delivery and storage constraints, driveway timing, and any required retaining walls. Record site conditions including grass cutting, cleaning, tree removal, existing structures, survey pegs, and possible asbestos. Identify existing boundary assets and whether underpinning is needed. Map power hazards, including overhead lines, crane reach clearances, and scaffold proximity, and log required electrical applications and spotters.
