SEW Environment Team Car Inspection – Monthly
by Jonathan Duffy, from the Community
Use this monthly car inspection checklist designed for the SEW Environment team to keep fleet vehicles safe, roadworthy, and compliant. The template guides inspectors to record vehicle type, location, fuel level, date, inspector name, and mileage, then assess engine bay fluids including oil, screen wash, AdBlue, brake, clutch, power steering, and antifreeze. Check wheels for tread depth, pressure, and damage, and capture any defects. Verify visibility and lighting systems: windscreen and wipers, washers, headlights, fog lights, reverse and brake lights, hazards, and mirrors. Review interior safety features such as seatbelts, seat adjustment, dashboard warnings, and pedal condition. Finish with an overall condition rating and whether the vehicle is safe to operate.
