Use this pre-start vehicle check to assess roadworthiness and WHS compliance before driving. The checklist covers outside vehicle inspection (leaks, tyres including spare, lights, mirrors, indicators, panel damage), cabin setup (windscreen cleanliness, doors/boot secure, controls, parking brake, mirrors, temperature/entertainment, phone and navigation setup, correct fuel), and maintenance items (service due, tyre-changing kit, secure loose items, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, Linkt toll tag, disability permit if applicable, fuel card, car manual, infection control kit). It also includes seat and seatbelt safety guidance and verifies dashboard warning lights after start. Record registration, odometer, and any defects for follow-up with the WHS Officer.
