Monthly Racking Inspection Checklist

This monthly racking check sheet helps warehouse teams inspect storage racking for safety and compliance. Review base plates and floor fixings, levelling plates, and safety locks. Check front and rear beams for dislodgement or damage. Inspect frame braces for horizontal and diagonal damage with action thresholds, and verify column guards and brace orientation. Assess uprights for vertical and parallel deflection against defined millimeter thresholds and ensure shelves and baseboards are suitable. Confirm pallet loads are placed correctly. Capture drawings and photos of damage, raise actions for repairs, and complete sign off.
