This MHE weekly checklist supports safe warehouse operations by guiding inspections for forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, VNAs, and pallet trucks. It covers visual and functional checks including forks, carriage and mast components, hydraulics, wheels and tires, overhead guards, seats and seat belts, lights and beacons, mirrors, key switch, steering and console controls, battery condition, emergency stop, horn and other audible devices, charger cables, and overall equipment condition.

Daily Materials Handling Equipment Inspection
This daily MHE inspection template helps operators and supervisors verify that forklifts, cherry pickers, and other materials handling equipment are safe to use before each shift. Sections cover visual checks for damage, leaks, tires and wheels, forks or clamps, chains, cables and hoses, safety devices and labels, and battery condition, plus operational tests for steering, travel controls, hydraulics, brakes, horns, and emergency power disconnect. Includes photo capture, signatures, and comments.
