by Ops Admin, from the Community
This pre-cruise engineering checklist is designed for liveaboard vessels to ensure safe, compliant departures. It covers general readiness, completion of prior tasks, spares and tools control, and emergency lighting. Equipment checks include watermakers and pumps; main and auxiliary engines (oil, coolant, belts, strainers, electrical condition, and planned maintenance); multiple generators; fuel system components; steering pumps and emergency controls; compressors; outboards; AC systems across cabins and salon; and black and grey water systems. The checklist concludes with sign-offs by the Chief Engineer and Master/Captain.
