Use this pre start checklist to inspect Kenworth and DAF trucks before each shift and keep fleets safe and compliant. Check rims and tires, wheel nuts, mirrors, wipers, windscreen, horn, gauges, and lights. Verify engine oil, coolant, transmission and hydraulic fluids, diesel and AdBlue levels, and look for leaks from oil, brakes, and exhaust. Confirm reverse alarm, trailer lock pin, suspension air bags, blower and trailer connections, mud guards, and brakes are in good condition. Record site and operator details, capture notes or photos, and log corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve safety.
