This Harvest Logistics Truck Audit checklist helps verify the safety and compliance of forestry haulage operations. Inspect driver credentials and records including licenses, logbooks, permits, and weighbridge receipts. Check required PPE such as hard hat, hi-vis, and lace-up safety boots. Assess vehicle items like RT radio, COF, registration, road user charges, servicing due date, fire extinguisher, torch, first aid kit, seat belts, and shovel. Review equipment condition including throw-over chains, twitches, twitch bar, and tyres, and confirm the LTSC 0800 number is displayed. Evaluate load height, crown, security, belly chains, and capture photos of the load. Confirm knowledge of truck loading zones and emergency procedures on site.
