Use this checklist to complete pre operation inspections for a portable water unit vehicle. Verify external condition including bodywork, doors, glass, lights and beacons, wheels and tyres, mirrors, battery cover, delivery hose, end caps and tank hatches. Confirm water level and basket controls. Check the interior for foreign object debris and test steering, PTO, pedals, foot and hand brakes, console lighting, switches, displays and rear view mirror. Record asset and hours readings, capture photos of defects and remove unsafe equipment from service.
