This Appendix G Airstrip Checklist supports daily inspections of runway and apron areas to help maintain safe, compliant airport operations. It guides checks on runway lights, visibility, perimeter fencing, security, wind sock condition, FOD and contamination, wildlife activity, and emergency readiness, including fire truck serviceability, hydrants, and response vehicles. Apron checks cover gates, obstructions, blast areas, fuel spills, and security.
