Grafton Regional Airport Inspection Checklist
by Clarence Valley Council, from the Community
This airport inspection checklist supports daily airfield safety at Grafton Regional Airport. Review runway, taxiway, and apron conditions, including debris, pavement, markings, gable markers, and edge and flood lights. Verify fencing, gates, signage, and emergency access. Check drainage and erosion, assess hazards such as wildlife, airside incursions, and incidents, and confirm obstacle limitation surfaces remain clear. Validate equipment including pilot activated lighting and AFRU. Record current NOTAMs, weather, and complete a wildlife count. Use this template to document findings, ensure compliance, and maintain safe airport operations.
