Use this Appendix G airstrip checklist to assess airport serviceability before arrivals and departures. Verify runway and apron status, including lights, visibility, perimeter fencing, bird and animal activity, FOD and contamination, windsock condition, and overall security. Confirm fire truck standby and serviceability, fire hydrants, and emergency response vehicle readiness. Check gates and fences, fuel spills or contamination, apron obstructions, and jet or prop blast area safety. Record incidents and notify the Safety Officer, with ERT coordinator details and corrective actions logged for audit.
