Virgin Media Cable Conditioning Survey v3.1
by Nelio Goncalves, from the Community
This template supports cable conditioning and network assessment of Virgin Media MDU installations over 18m that were cabled before 2015. It guides surveyors through external and internal cabling checks, ensuring cables and trunking are secure, entry holes are properly sealed, and firestopping meets current standards. It captures access and egress risks, building details, floor and property counts, and the condition and safety of lockboxes and distribution points. The survey records photographic evidence, notes unauthorized works, and classifies remedial priorities from P1 critical to P6 restricted. A final summary consolidates hazards, affected areas, and recommended remedial works, with an SOR section to quantify required materials and labor.
