Transmission Installation Checklist
by Team Leader Ericsson, from the Community
This transmission installation checklist helps telecom teams verify near and far end setup after installation. It covers outdoor and indoor tasks including antenna and RAU fixation and earthing, IF cable sealing and labeling, proper cable routing to trays, polarization marking, and photographic documentation. For indoor racks, confirm AMM earthing, module screw tightness, dual power sources, and clear labeling of power, IF, Ethernet, and fiber cables, with cabinet photos. Validate radio link configuration for both ends, received level checks, VLAN configuration, traffic routing, DCN with OSPF, network synchronization, and any SID changes. Include print screens and interference test results to complete commissioning and ensure a reliable link.
