NBN Lead-in and Cabling Installation Checklist
by Chris Solyk, from the Community
Use this NBN cabling installation checklist to assess underground and aerial customer lead-ins, single-dwelling PCD setup, and multi-dwelling connections and construction. Verify conduit depth, riser pipes, separation from other services, correct RG6/RG11 cable types, heat shrink, moisture seals, and drip loops. Check PCD placement, covers, connectors, isolators, splitters, and amplifiers, and confirm labeling for power blocks, feeders, and earth wires. Capture issues as minor or major, attach photos, and document locations and personnel. Improve compliance, site safety, and quality across telecom installations.
