Use this in-progress and post build quality checklist to assess workmanship during and after civil works. Confirm kiln dried sand has been applied and compacted with a plate compactor fitted with a neoprene pad. Check that modules and paving sit within tolerance to adjoining surfaces, with no rocking, and that infills and kerb interfaces are filled to full depth with matching materials and color. Verify CF chamber or cabinet surrounds are reinstated correctly. Inspect sub-base thickness (minimum 100 mm) and bedding material type and depth. Replace any damaged modules with matching type, color, and thickness, and ensure the layout matches the existing pattern. Confirm edging and road kerbs removed or damaged by works are reinstated. Capture the audit type and sign off completion.

Supervisor Chamber Audit Checklist

This supervisor-led checklist supports completed chamber audits for fiber network civil works. It guides teams to confirm street works permits and signage or SLG, verify calibrated gas detectors and correct lifting equipment before entry, and conduct gas tests. Inspect chamber construction on a concrete base, floated cement floor with sump and grate where required, and the correct number of sections. Check that duct entries meet spacing rules, are not in top or bottom sections, and are cut flush and sealed with silicone. Assess cover and frame installation on a mortar bed, level tolerance within +/- 6 mm, snug fit with no trip hazards, tarmac trimmed back, and a 150 mm concrete surround.
