Retail Stock Loss and Store Audit Checklist

by Steve Gamble, from the Community

Downloads: 10+

Use this retail loss prevention checklist to audit store operations and reduce stock loss. Review daily stock on hand and investigations, verify manager sign-off on invoices for phones, computers, TVs and audio, and check minimum security for high-value items like home security and accessories. Photograph each storeroom aisle and customer pickup logs, track outstanding repairs and unsellables, and follow up stock on return and EDI items approaching deadlines. Note write-offs, ensure damaged or faulty TVs are photographed, and confirm the store is free of smashed panels. Submit the completed audit with photos to managers as part of weekly reporting.
