Tricon American Homes Standard Move-In Checklist
by Brian Zacharias, from the Community
This standard move-in checklist helps property managers and residents document the condition of a rental home at handover. Sections cover exterior and landscaping, garage and driveway, living and dining areas, kitchen and laundry (including appliances, counters, flooring, lighting), bathrooms, and bedrooms. Record paint, drywall, windows and treatments, flooring, fixtures, and countertops, add notes where required, and attach photos if needed. Conclude with resident and Tricon signatures to confirm the move-in condition and ensure a transparent, consistent onboarding process.
