Use this checklist to assess residential swimming pool safety barriers for pools installed before 1 September 2008 in line with AS1926.1-1986 and NSW requirements. It covers fence height, gaps, non climbable zones, gate operation and latching, hinge spacing, ground clearances, windows and doors that form part of the barrier, boundary fences, and required CPR warning signage.
