Use this checklist to assess swimming pool barriers installed between 1/9/2008 and 30/4/2013 against AS1926.1-2007. Inspect fence condition and height, boundary barriers, gaps, non-climbable zones, and internal clearances. Verify gate operation, self-closing and self-latching, latch height or shielding, hinge spacing, and ground clearance. Check retaining walls near pools, door and window restrictions where they form part of the barrier, balconies impacting NCZs, and CPR warning signage visibility. Record site details, capture photos, and document inspection results for compliance.
