PHP Block Health and Safety Inspection Checklist
by Alex Hanson, from the Community
Use this PHP Block Health and Safety Check to assess residential blocks and communal areas for hazards and compliance. Inspect external paths and building defects, confirm required signage is displayed, and ensure escape routes are clear. Verify communal and fire doors operate correctly and are signed, service cupboards are secured by PHP lock, and drying rooms are used appropriately. Check lighting and flooring, condition of flat front doors, and that emergency lighting and fire alarm logs are completed at required intervals. Record cleaning standards and capture photos where needed.
