This park and playing field checklist helps teams complete routine visual inspections of public open spaces. It covers perimeter and entry points, fencing, hedging, weeds, and general grounds condition. Inspect trees for dead branches and protruding roots, and verify benches are secure and in good condition. Review playground areas for signs, fences and gates, safety surfaces, and equipment including cradle swings, standard swings, multi play units, see saws, step stones, and youth pods.
