Wet Pipe Fire Sprinkler Monthly Service Checklist
by Melanie Whitmore, from the Community
Use this monthly service checklist to maintain wet pipe fire sprinkler systems at NRG operating sites or similar facilities. Verify control valves, spare sprinklers, signage and booster connections; confirm stop valves and alarm cocks are open and secured; test pressure switches, alarm signalling and strobes; record pre- and post-test pressures; conduct alarm gong timing; and test automatic and manual pump starts. Include checks for water storage tanks and foam concentrate, log defects, and capture technician signatures.
