Insulated Panel Safety Checklist (Monthly)

This monthly checklist helps facilities inspect insulated panel compartments used in cold rooms, freezers, production areas and warehouses. Record core materials (EPS, PIR, PUR, xFlam), thickness, areas and wall heights, then verify panel faces are intact with no exposed core. Check electrical penetrations are sealed and in conduit, flues are flashed with clearances, and light fixtures have diffusers. Confirm housekeeping and fire safety controls: keep combustibles away from external panels, maintain setbacks from heat sources and battery chargers, or install non-combustible shields. The checklist supports regular self-inspections to reduce fire risk, maintain hygiene, and improve compliance for sites using insulated panel systems.
