Warehouse Fire and Emergency Response Inspection
by David Brown, from the Community
Use this inspection template to evaluate fire and emergency readiness in warehouse, mezzanine, storeroom, and office areas. Check clear, illuminated exits and marked evacuation routes; verify assembly point, alarm activation, warden roles, and staff training. Confirm six-monthly evacuation drills and an up-to-date site-specific emergency plan. Inspect extinguishers and hoses for access and current tags, correct signage, operable call points, and working smoke detectors. Review safe storage clearances, pallet placement, and heater use before sign-off.
