Void Handover Inspection Checklist
Use this void handover inspection checklist to ensure a property is ready to let after void works. Record property address and date, verify safety certifications (electrical, gas CP12, EPC), check weather tightness and damp and mould, track keys, capture gas and electric meter readings and credit, confirm works completed to specification, cleanliness, and rubbish removal. Log defects with target dates, attach completion photos by room (external, kitchen, bathroom, WC, hallway, lounge, bedrooms), and complete sign-off to release the property for re-letting.
