Block Management Property Inspection Checklist
by Harry Pollard-Clarke, from the Community
This block management property inspection checklist helps property and facilities teams assess building condition and safety. Inspect external areas such as grounds, brickwork, roofs, gutters, downpipes, bin stores, and gates, and record any damage or cleanliness issues. Verify internal communal areas, including smoke and fire alarms, emergency lighting, AOV systems, lifts, and CCTV. Confirm proper storage in corridors, notice board updates, and overall decor. Capture meter readings and add notes or photos to document findings and follow up actions.
