ABM Log Book Audit Checklist

This ABM Log Book Audit checklist helps facilities teams review and maintain a complete on-site log book. Verify sign-in registers, emergency escalation procedures, and scope of contract details. Check asset registers, refrigerant records, planned preventive maintenance and reactive reports, and water services documentation. Confirm specialist subcontractor visit logs and copies of statutory certifications including fire alarms, emergency lighting, lifts and lifting equipment, boiler and gas, portable appliance testing, pressure systems, electrical inspection, utility readings, and lightning protection. Review health and safety records such as risk assessments, method statements, site induction, policies, insurance, COSHH, and permits. Capture FCU and AC service reports, ladder and scaffolding tag registers, toolbox talks, and additional observations to ensure compliance and readiness.
