Underground Drill Bay Electrical Inspection SWI
by Nyamjav Terbish, from the Community
Use this standard work instruction to guide a comprehensive underground drill bay electrical inspection. The procedure covers pre-start preparations, hazard identification, and isolation, followed by ventilation and lighting checks, ground support assessment, housekeeping and signage verification. Inspect junction boxes, pump, fan and well pump control panels for damage, labeling, arc flash warnings, locks, moisture and corrosion. Review GEM sensor term boxes and remote I O panels. Confirm fire extinguishers are present and in service. On completion, clean the area, return tools and parts, notify the underground supervisor, and report or record any defects and repairs.
