Weekly Underground Drill Rig Inspection Checklist

Use this weekly inspection checklist to ensure underground drill rigs and worksites meet safety and operational standards. Items cover general site conditions, personnel competence, PPE, emergency readiness, electrical and isolation checks, guarding, hydraulic and air hoses, wireline and lifting gear, deadman switch, fire suppression, leaks, and spin cage use. Assess power pack condition, cleanliness, gauges, and guarding. Review housekeeping, cable management, rod storage, hydrocarbon controls, ground support, ventilation, drainage, and trip hazards. Include support vehicle checks for tyres, leaks, fire equipment, communications, first aid, and permits.
