Use this daily closing checklist to safely secure a leisure centre at end of day. Verify fire safety risks are removed, doors and cabinets locked, equipment powered down, areas cleared of occupants, and keys secured. Record fridge and freezer temperatures, clean and shut down the coffee machine, charge Skyguard and duty manager phones, and complete banking and float checks. Lock external areas including 3G pitches and tennis courts, set alarms, notify car park closing times, and perform plant room checks on boilers, pumps, leaks, and control panels. Capture and report defects, then sign off that the premises is safe to lock up.
