This haul road inspection checklist helps tyre fitters and supervisors assess mining circuits for tyre and road-related risks. Inspect dig areas, ramps, haul roads, and dump zones for rough floors, spillage, soft spots, off-camber corners, steep ramps, excessive TKPH, high speeds, and corner cutting. Rate each item from 0 to 2, rectify poor findings immediately, and recheck fair items as soon as possible. Complete a post inspection after fixes and capture sign-offs from the tyre fitter and supervisor.

Verify clear walkways, emergency access and exits, fire protection, signage, lighting, and drainage. Review hazardous chemical storage and documentation, first aid readiness, spill response, and housekeeping. Check haul road standards, delineators, and traffic management controls. Record hazards, note items that cannot be fixed immediately, assign actions to the responsible team, and follow up to closure.

Record dig rates, trucking allocation, volume targets and short interval controls. Verify Minestar functionality and dump compliance, including bund height and thickness, and attach work area photos. Log safety issues, job safety analyses, pre starts, light vehicle and plant checks and instructions from the OCE. Inspect crib huts, go lines, haul roads and ramps for signage, width, camber, delineators and road sheeting. Verify stability of faces above and below haul routes, road width, potholes and obstructions, containment bunds, and drainage to prevent ponding.
