This Fatal Risk Control Verification checklist helps mining teams manage drowning risk when working in or near liquid bodies such as pit sumps, dams, tanks, thickeners and water systems. It guides verification of flotation devices, mandates level 100 personal flotation devices for work on or near water, and requires a spotter when boats are used.
