Mobile Equipment Critical Control Verification
by Gerald Visagie, from the Community
This mobile equipment critical control verification checklist helps mining teams confirm fatal risk controls are in place before and during operations. It guides checks for safe driving practices, safety devices and seatbelts, vehicle-pedestrian segregation, berm standards, stable parking and secured loads, positive communication and radios, and engineered fire detection and suppression systems. Use it to pause work when critical controls are ineffective, and to document inspections with sign-off by the responsible person.
