Use this mining conveyor maintenance checklist to conduct an offline mechanical inspection before returning equipment to service. Verify accessways, guarding and machine readiness; check couplings and fluid couplings for leaks, alignment and fastener integrity; assess chutes, deflector plates and skirting for corrosion, wear and secure fasteners; confirm wear liner thickness and skirt clearances; inspect feed chutes and diverter chutes, hoses and cylinders; evaluate V-belts, pulleys and belt tension to OEM tolerances; review stacker tripper components; and examine screw, long travel and gravity take-up assemblies for corrosion, proper tension and smooth operation. Record findings and schedule replacements to improve safety and uptime.
